Safety marshal • Bartholomew County, Indiana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety marshal in Bartholomew County, Indiana. The job is on a road and infrastructure project. The role involves: • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment What we are looking for: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements 6+ years on the tools preferred.
