Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Grant County, Wisconsin. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Your main tasks: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
