Great opportunity: we are hiring a mall security guard in Marshall County, South Dakota. You will be based in a CCTV control room. What we are looking for: • Basic reading of English and local language for registers • Trained in basic fire-fighting and first aid Your main tasks: • Check fire exits, locks, gates and seals during rounds • Raise the alarm and follow the evacuation drill in an emergency • Frisk people and run bag checks at the entry point • Detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police • Patrol the premises on foot at fixed intervals • Operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door Pay around $200 per day, based on your experience.
