Excavator operator • Birnin Gwari, Kaduna State

Vacancy available: we are hiring an excavator operator in Birnin Gwari, Kaduna State. You will be based at a plant hire yard. You should have: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Day-to-day duties: • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
