Join our team: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Day-to-day duties: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
