Ideal candidate: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor The role involves report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; set up and start the machine as per the job card; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing.
