The role involves keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
