Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Saint John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a gas distribution network. The role involves: • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
