Immediate opening: retail butcher (South Dakota)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a retail butcher in Charles Mix County, South Dakota. Day-to-day duties: • Season and marinate meat on request • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain Ideal candidate: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Full-time, day shift.
