Fabricator-welder — Black Hawk County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Black Hawk County, Iowa. On the job you will handle: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 3+ years on the tools preferred.
