HSE officer • Jefferson County, Nebraska

Vacancy available: we are hiring a HSE officer in Jefferson County, Nebraska. On a typical shift you will record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
