Halal butcher • Houston County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a halal butcher in Houston County, Texas. You will work in a supermarket meat department. You will trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $15 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
