Stainless steel welder wanted in Glasgow City

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Glasgow City, Scotland. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters.
