Lathe programmer-operator • Lafourche Parish, Louisiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a busy machine shop. On the job you will handle: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear You should have: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
