We are recruiting: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Multnomah County, Oregon. You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Day-to-day duties: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
