Immediate opening: tyre and wheel fitter (Iowa)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in Adams County, Iowa. The job is in a fast-fit workshop. Requirements: • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • Valid driving licence for mobile fitting roles Your main tasks: • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
