Now hiring: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Miami-Dade County, Florida. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Day to day you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Performance bonus on top of base pay.
