Join our team: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Goodhue County, Minnesota. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. The role involves sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents. Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
