Cnc lathe operator • Linn County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Linn County, Iowa. The job is at a busy machine shop. Day to day you will deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; write and edit G-code programs at the control; load and index turning tools in the turret; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. Requirements: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges 5+ years on the tools preferred.
