Vacancy available: we are hiring a frame straightening technician in City of Fairfax, Virginia. You will work in a collision repair centre. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines The role involves read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
