Vacancy available: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Leicestershire, England. You will work on commercial and industrial sites. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Able to read isometric and site drawings On the job you will handle: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves 3+ years on the tools preferred.
