Tailor machinist wanted in Dolores County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Dolores County, Colorado. Ideal candidate: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams On a typical shift you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
