Restoration bricklayer • Tangaza, Sokoto State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Tangaza, Sokoto State. You will be based on a new-build development. On the job you will handle: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
