Incoming goods inspector — Essex County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Essex County, Virginia. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. The role involves: • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans What we are looking for: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
