Now hiring: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Jerauld County, South Dakota. The role involves maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
