Restoration bricklayer — Knox County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Knox County, Maine. You will be based on a commercial construction site. The role involves: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $29 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
