Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Lee County, Illinois. You will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Full-time, day shift.
