Great opportunity: container truck driver (California)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a container truck driver in Humboldt County, California. You will work at a container freight yard. On a typical shift you will secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; report defects and book the unit in for servicing; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off. What we are looking for: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
