Fire and safety officer • Tai, Rivers State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Tai, Rivers State. You will work at a busy construction site. You will run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
