Die-casting operator • Kootenai County, Idaho

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Kootenai County, Idaho. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor On a typical shift you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects.
