Great opportunity: we are hiring a steam press operator in Twiggs County, Georgia. The job is in a tailoring workshop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Your main tasks: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron Pay around $18 per hour, based on your experience.
