Reinforcement steel fixer wanted in Aberdeenshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Your main tasks: • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire We offer £115 per day plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
