Urgent requirement: we are hiring a body shop technician in Van Buren County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage You will buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly.
