UPVC door and window fabricator — Walsall

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Walsall, England. You will work at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits Your main tasks: • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication 6+ years on the tools preferred.
