Now hiring: we are hiring a sausage maker in Miner County, South Dakota. You will work in a supermarket meat department. The role involves: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Season and marinate meat on request • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Part-time with flexible hours.
