Immediate opening: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in City of Alexandria, Virginia. You will be based on a busy domestic building site. Your main tasks: • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Part-time with flexible hours.
