Gtaw welder — Oyo East

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Oyo East, Oyo State. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around ₦155,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
