Shakeout operator • Ajeromi/Ifelodun, Lagos State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Ajeromi/Ifelodun, Lagos State. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts The role involves: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
