Join our team: we are hiring a dogger in Lawrence County, Kentucky. The job is at a container port. The role involves: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces 6+ years on the tools preferred.
