Vacancy available: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in George County, Mississippi. You will work at an automobile body shop. On the job you will handle: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 5+ years on the tools preferred. $2,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
