Urgent requirement: automotive paint technician (Ohio)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Licking County, Ohio. The job is at a busy body shop. Requirements: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods The role involves: • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
