Immediate opening: gas metal arc welder (Indiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Pulaski County, Indiana. You will work on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Day-to-day duties: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator Full-time, day shift.
