Steel erection rigger wanted in Lamar County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Lamar County, Mississippi. You will work at a power plant. On the job you will handle: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear 1+ years on the tools preferred.
