Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Batagarawa, Katsina State. Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection The role involves: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
