Requirements: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Day to day you will replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
