Vacancy available: we are hiring a head butcher in Yolo County, California. You will work at a wholesale meat market. On the job you will handle: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Season and marinate meat on request • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
