Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts On the job you will handle: • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
