Immediate opening: gas installation technician (Virginia)

Join our team: we are hiring a gas installation technician in City of Norfolk, Virginia. You will work on commercial and industrial sites. What we are looking for: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches The role involves read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
