Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Midland County, Michigan. You will be based at a residential building site. The role involves: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
