Body shop technician — Buchanan County

Join our team: we are hiring a body shop technician in Buchanan County, Iowa. On the job you will handle: • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
